🚰 Colorado Water and PFAS

The CDPHE adopted the EPA’s drinking-water standard for six key PFAS compounds (PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFNA, and GenX chemicals) through Regulation 11.

The “initial monitoring” deadline is April 1, 2027.

These requirements apply to community and non-transient, non-community water systems, which must complete initial PFAS monitoring to establish future compliance obligations. The monitoring results will help determine long-term compliance monitoring/sampling schedules and provide understanding for treatment planning where needed.

At Rule Engineering, we support clients with sampling, monitoring plans, treatment evaluations, reporting support, and overall compliance strategy — helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Compliance starts with a sample 🧪— let’s get you ready.
